when i went to look in my garden this morning right where i had planted my tomato seeds was a huge pile of dog shiit..... i know it was not my dogs they don't go there and i clean up after mine... anyway... i was convinced it was next doors dog (AGAIN) so i took a trowel and i went to flick it onto next doors lawn..... it flicked a little more than i expected...... and now it is like a giant bird doo doo on their window infact......
then later in conversation the caretaker told me that next door people and the dog has been away a few days.... how was i meant to know.... they NEVER EVER clean up after it....... so...... should i clean it or or just leave it there for payback for all the other times?

you reap what you sow- clean it up! Even if it had been their dog this was the wrong thing to do. The mature thing would have been to knock on their door and explain that you are finding dog mess in oyur yard and would they please be careful not to let their dog come into oyur yard and that you will make sure to extend that same courtesy to them. They are your neighbors and like it or not, it is likely that oyu will have to deal with them for a long time - possibly the rest of your lifetime- you will be the one to decide whether these will be pleasant dealings or whether you are going to be at all out war on a constant basis with your neighbors. You never know when you might need the assistance of these people- so is a bit of dog mess, regardless of how gross or inconvenient, worth sacrificing the future on the alter of right now about??

The way next door's dogs are barking at the moment I feel like doing something similar to their house!

I would make sure of when they are coming back if you are going to clean it, cos imagine being up a ladder with a clothful of dog poo in your hand and them coming home!!!!!!
How would you explain that one away???? a) There is dog poo obviously from there window in your hand b) It's you on the ladder with a bucket.

LMAO! I have this same problem...but there are too many around to know whose dog it is! I know it's not mine! If you had to clean it up from your yard before, I'd leave it (as long as no one knows!) .
