I need to know exactly. I want to duplicate that car for my own selfish reasons.

Make, year, and what modifications were most likely used to make him look the way he did.

That would be one sharp vehicle for cruising..

Each car in the movie except for the cars in the credits in the theater are based off real cars.

The superbird was Strip, the King.

If you're not going to give me an answer or the car type, then don't bother posting.

mmmmmm

looks like a 1970 Plymouth Superbird

modifications would have to include:

Body kit to make the fenders accurate. Underfender wings are common on classic muscle cars so that wont be hard to find.

You will need to get new headlights that will stay open all the time and not flip up..

If you really want to then you can have a custom aftermarket spoiler made to have all the levels that the cartoon does.. but the stock Superbird spoiler is really all you need.

hope this helped!!

He will love the movie! I have 2 nephews that love the movie one of them was only 12 months when he watched it the first time and he loved it. Just get ready for him to want everything Cars when he sees it in the store. Speed Racer is pretty good too. And any of the Nick Jr. movies you can get Nick jr 1-2-3-4-5 I'm not sure if they came out with a number 6 yet but they are all nick jr shows you can look on they back they all have different themes and last 3-4 hours you can get them at walmart for really cheap. My nephews both love those too and it always keeps them busy in the car. Have you tried the baby Einstein movies? They have some about trains planes an cars. If I can think of any other ones I will let you know! Good luck!

I don't think it's any car. I think it's an amalagam of many cars, or it's just made up.

On the other hand, one of the cars in the movie is pretty much a Hudson Hornet.

Rydell, no insult intended. You *DO* know cars is an animated movie, and they don't exist right? Artist rendition type of thing? Disney knows how to make animated, make-believe movie spectacles.
