I do this also. I am usually reading a non-fiction and something lighter (I love Harry) at the same time. Nothing wrong with it......

Most ever was 5, but I like reading one at a time since it only takes me a couple days to down a 300 page book. I've done books that big in a day if I get really caught up in it and I have the time.

I do the same thing. I usually read at least 3 or more books at the same time. I don't know why it wouldn't be healthy to, your just reading it's not like your watching TV every hour of your life. Now that would be unhealthy. :) Your fine though, if you enjoy doing it and it's not taking time away from your family and life then I don't see the problem.

Currently, I am reading three books. Depending on my mood I may set one down and continue with another.
What do you mean by is it healthy? Reading is good for you. You are increasing your brain power by having to remember what you read earlier in order to pick it up from where you left off. In other words you are using your short term memory.
Now where did I put those keys?

I can read 3 at a time. I keep a book on my bedfor reading at night, upstairs when nothings on tv, and in my purse for work. I don't see why it would be unhealthy or why i couldnt keep it up.

If the book is really interesting, I will forsaken all others. Otherwise, I've been known to read four to five books at the same time.

Have done it. Has been said that its actually a good mental challenge for the brain to keep it all straight. I know some people with memory loss that have done this to get their minds working right agian.
