1000 emails just disappeared. Can I stop that from happening and can I find where they are now or are they gone forever? Second time this has happened. Microsoft Windows 98

Do you share your computer with more people? Someone who is evil could've been deleting them. Other than that, it's possible that you got a virus, scan your computer with a good virusscanner such as TrendMicro Housecall or avast! Antivirus.

Did you use ccleaner? or any program that clean the hard drive from junk mail?. or you can open outlook express and go to tools then options then maintenance UN check empty e_mail folder on exit.

easy get rid of outlook not only does it suck but it destroys your computer with viruses and other bad things
