1.) Assuming you are speaking about the modern Super Bowl era, the greatest team is a tie. Either the 1960s Green Bay Packers, the 1970s Pittsburgh Steelers that won 4 Super Bowls, or the 1992-1995 Dallas Cowboys who won 3 SBs. Or the undefeated Dolphins of '72.
2.) Greatest players...Hmmmm.. that is hard. I say Jerry Rice, Reggie White, and either Johnny Unitas, Emmitt Smith, or Walter Payton.
3.) Most overrated Super Bowl winner is the 2007 Indianapolis Colts. Sure they had a great offense, but they had no defense. Another overrated team was the 1982 Washington Redskins. Joe Theissmann sucks.
4.) Greatest QB alltime is, in my opinion, Johnny Unitas. Other possibilities are Joe Montana, John Elway, and Dan Marino
5.) Greatest running back all time is Walter Payton followed closely by Emmitt Smith and Barry Sanders.
6.) The greatest coach alltime is Bill Walsh. Hands down, no contest. And this is coming from a Cowboys fan. I could have said, "I hate the 49ers" and picked Tom Landry as he best. But Walsh was just a genius. There never was, and likely never will be, another coach so knowledgable and innovative for an offense, especially the quaterback position. He revolutionized the offensive strategy, and how a defense reacts to an offense.
7.) The greatest defensive player is probably Reggie White. Other candidates are Deion Sanders, Mel Blount, Dick Butkus, Sam Huff, Lawrence Taylor, and Bob Lilly.
8.) Next year's SB? Hmmm... if all of the Patriots new FA's work hard and perform well together, and the defense can stay healthy, the Pats will definitely be there because the two other AFC powerhouses, Indianapolis and San Diego, have lost their edge. SD has lost it head coach, defensive coordinator, AND offensive coordinator (it will be hard to adjust to all the new coaches), and Indy has lost too many good players on both sides of the ball, but especially defense. As for the NFC, it is harder. Bears have an easy schedule, but will the defense be able to once again carry Sexy Rexy? I doubt it because Cedric Benson cannot carry the running load by himself. Too young and vulnerable to injury. Othe possibilites for the NFC Super Bowl bid are Dallas, maybe Carolina if they can get it together, and the Saints. As a Cowboys fan, I will give my vote of confidence to Dallas, but the Saints could easily be there as well. Regardless, if the Patriots are in the SB, no one will be able to stop them, and this is from a hater of the Pats.

1. Overall - Bears
Single decade - 70s Steelers
Single year - 1985 Bears(better offensively and defensively equal to 1972 Dolphins)
2. Johnny Unitas, Jim Brown, and Jerry Rice. These were the 3 people that changed the way their position was played, and are used as measuring sticks.
3. 1967 Packers. They were not as dominant as their other championship teams, and would have lost to the Jets or Chiefs of that year.
4. Johnny Unitas
5. Walter Payton or Jim Brown
6. Vince Lombardi. Shula has more wins, but also more losses in big games.
7. Joe Greene
8. Indianapolis vs. Philadelphia. Colts win 31-20

1-I am stuck between the 85 Bears and the 2000 Ravens defensively. The Bears sucked at the beginning of that season, even though they were unblockable the rest of the season, The Ravens were the real deal all year so im going to say the Ravens. Offensively would easily be one of the 49er teams, when Jerry was in his prime which ever of those would be, but really, you can't argue with perfection....the 72 Dolphins are the only undefeated team in history, and I suspect will stay that way, teams are getting too good now a days.
2-Walter Payton, Ray Lewis, Reggie White
3-N.Y. Jets
4-Joe Montana-I dont need to explain this one. Count the rings. That is all I have to say.
5-Walter Payton-Was not blessed with speed, a little slow as a matter a fact. He made up for it very well though being the best all around back I have ever seen. He blocked like a lineman, caught like a wide out, could run to the outside with his agility and his unique hop step and cuts to break some ankles, or he could run it right up the gut and run over tacklers. Walter was also the toughest man that I have ever seen. He played through the flu, the puking flu and he had over 100 yards. I think he only missed two games or something like that. His greatest asset was his heart though. Walter Payton never gave up, and he trained almost as hard as anyone I have ever seen. He would run hills every day until he puked.
6-Don Shula, only coach able to be perfect.
7-Ray Lewis, able to intimidate better than anyone I've ever seen. He is very fast, very strong, and very nasty. Greatest leadership that the NFL has ever seen as he brings emotion like no one else can, pumping his entire team up to get that adrenaline edge. Also he is a leader to the entire league, examples being Al Wilson after a game, and making T.O. apologize on national televison for remarks that he made about Ray. He misses the least tackles out of anyone I've ever seen. Last season I can only remember him missing two tackles. That is unbelievable. Tough and mentally tough as anyone I've ever seen, with the exeption maybe of Walter Payton. He trains harder than anyone though, he trains to failure, instead of training for reps, and you can see the results.
8-Ravens 24 Eagles 9
