is that a low. medium or high intercity light for my aquerium because i wanna grow plants so can someone
give me the amount of volts for a medium intercity light and high intercity light remember its for a 40 gallon tank. and please dont give me the rule or formula to find out just give me the answer . thanks

It depends on what the wattage of your bulb/bulbs are not the voltage. If you have 1 65 watt bulb in there then thats very low lighting. If your bulb is 120 watts and not volts then it is decent lighting at 3 watts per gallon. Almost all lights are 120 volts.

For your aquarium 120-130 watts of lighting would be plenty. Your bulb/bulbs should have some specs on it near where it plugs into the fixture. It should have its wattage rating there.

In terms of plants, that's low intensity lighting.

for a 40 gallon low is under about 4 watts per gallon, medium 5-8 and high above that... roughly, it really does kind of depend on the plants.
