That is what liberals do.
How about the 15% tax on assets in IRA's?
How does that help people take care of their own retirement? It does not, it forces them to depend on the government, which liberals want.

How else can the democrats finance their redistribution of wealth program to buy votes? Hillary's "I want those profits.." remark about the oil industry should alert any intelligent person as to what her real agenda is. If you think your taxes are high now, wait and see what happens to your bank account if she becomes president. She's making a lot of promises in order to get votes. It's your treasury she'll pay off those debts with.

The Democrats are all just a bunch of out of work communists. They seek to raise taxes to the level of 100%. Then they will be in total control of your everyday life. Wake up!

Do you have a citation for this tidbit -- or are you just quoting someone else who didn't actually read any of the bills?
Bush is demanding hundreds of billions of dollars to fund his war. And Congress is willing to give it to him, to support the troops as long as they are over there. But that money has to come from somewhere.
The past Congresses have just raised the national debt with deficit spending. In effect, passing on the financial burden to our kids. If the current Congress is raising taxes to balance the budget, they are at least making us pay now for what we're spending now, rather than going trillions more into debt.

Who exactly do you expect to pay the 8 trillion dollar deficit and pay for your president's wars???
Do you live check to check and make up the difference with a credit card? Is that smart?
This republican administration is doing more to ruin the US than any terrorist ever did.
And, IF it is the largest tax hike, I bet it is going to go on the rich, who have been slick about avoiding their share.
Go do your homework.

It won't pass. Don't get too worked up. This is one more way to try to undermine the President and the war in Iraq.
