Nope. I rarely give thumbs down at all. Only to racists or sexists, or openly rude people.

No, I don't unless I don't like their smart alec answers. Or when they come in and say thank for the 2 points, then I give them a thumbs down. I read the long answers, like you said, sometimes it is necessary for a long one. I don't like it when they are knocking the person that has asked the question, unless it is a prejudice question or some of the really sick ones.

No, I do not. I only give thumbs up to one that are correct or that I agree with. Never give thumbs down because I do not know everything. If they are racist or environmentalist, then thats different, thumbs down.
