Lol. i think you're between the dedicated believers that we went to iraq to oust a dictator that replaced into hurting human beings, and arising large shops of guns of mass destruction. Gimme a smash. All of you cons imagine that terrorists have some armada of battleships someplace, or an air stress of fighter jets, or a militia of hyper-educated squaddies to go back and get us. The likelyhood of a terrorist even containing nuclear fabric, no longer to coach acquiring it really is so minute that it really is in basic terms about no longer worth speaking about. Libs lied. it really is a robust one. tell me this, why is it that each and each important scandal that in touch manipulating votes, or human beings getting killed are contained in the Conservative column? Yeah, the dems have some, yet maximum are because someone had sex with someone who they weren't meant to. Oh, and there is that notorious Klansman too. extra acceptable no longer start up speaking about lies and deceit. Cons personal that as an indicator of the celebration. Liberty, and civil rights are emblems of the donkey. There are some sturdy conservatives obtainable, yet until eventually human beings truly opt for that they're going to help sturdy recommendations and in no way garbage, there'll be a warfare of opposing aisles, on the folk's rate.

Once again more ignorance on the part of right wing redneck war mongers.

The answer is when they have a Dem in the Whitehouse.

The supporters of the Republicans who answer these inane questions are a blight on the Republican party and are better suited for some back woods militia.

no one party can do this but a combined effort is needed as the President will veto such a bill. thus a majority of the house would be needed. Both parties made promises but it was all brag to get the edge to win. In reality people have to convince politicians to band together and stand up to the Presidents stubornness and total disreguard to the peoples wishes.

They didn't promise an instantaneous halt to the war. They promised to put some checks and balances on Bush and work on bringing our troops home. I see them doing exactly that. If anyone expected Congress to work miracles overnight then they don't know much about how Congress works, no matter what party they hail from.

You can't undo six years worth of damage in a few months. They've already done more to stop the war than their predecessors did when they set the timetable for withdrawal.

This isn't TV, you know. You don't sit back, elect people, watch a commercial and then have everything fixed in less than half an hour. Actual life takes actual time.

Are You kidding? They're still tryng to figure out how they can prove OJ wasn't guilty and how the Duke lacrosse team raped that poor misquided virgin stripper despite dna evidence in both cases. I wouldn't count on them getting to the Iraq War for awhile yet

Can you show me where a Dem promised to stop the war? The only thing the dems can do is stop the funding of the war they can not end the war. Only the president can do that.

This is the Republican's war, and they are working to continue it.
Watch CSPAN and see how the Republicans bring out the same pathetic excuses for why we need to stay the course.
The Democratic majority is by a hair in the Senate, and not enough to override veto. When the Republican party figures out that there is no graceful way out, they are going to look at the 2008 election and then they will flip flop.
So, until then, our military suffers.

Yes they are lying still. However they cannot end it until 2009. I suggest that all of congress that voted for the war be voted out of office....If you have a vote in 2008, use it.

Bush loves the War and will veto any legislation to stop the war. Please take a course on the US Constitution and the division of power between the 3 branches of government.
