There are a lot of pictures and text. I'm trying to give as much information as possible on one page, but it may be overkill.

And it may take too long to download, even though it's only one page, which would defeat the purpose.

Thanks for any suggestions you may have.

I went to your site and here is my impressions.

My display shows a large col, 20 - 30% of the page width wide running down the right side of the page. This seem to be wasted space to me. I think I would try to shorten the page and move information into that void. I felt like it was distracting me. I was constantly asking myself, "why did he leave it that way?"

There is no eye candy. No background pattern, no framing, nothing to please the eye. I.E. the site feels austere.

The information available on the site is FABULOUS. You have included details that make me feel like I understand the property as well as anyone who ever lived there. Excellent description of apt's and even some detail of the neighborhood.

Suggestions:

Get a back ground.
Frame like item.

Take all pictures into some editing program and make them all the same size. Frame them individually with the caption inside the frame.

I didn't see an email address for you. Did I just miss it or did you forget or do it intentionally? I see the phone number but in today's communication an email address would be nice. Besides it is very hard to describe some things and an attached photo could be the simplest way to go.

Overall grade B-

I picked every nit I could think of. I hope it helps. email me thru my profile if you want another review...

If you put your website in the body of the question (as opposed to the title), we might be able to simply click on it. As it is, I had to open a new page and type it in.

Page 1 of your website did not take a long time to load (and I have an older computer with a slower processor). However, it did take me a minute to figure out what the photos of the book pages were. Page 2 did take a little longer to load.

In general, I think that the site is readable, but why not actually put the photo and text for each apt together?

The one thing I did NOT like is that your links (click here for more photos of Apt A, ...) all link to the *same page*. Having all those links implies otherwise, and it makes me already a little wary of you. Why can't you just be straightforward (read: honest) and have a single hyperlink that says something like (for more photos...).

I personally would've separated all the info for each apt to make it easier to see, but maybe most people don't think like me. Right now you've got some detail photos on page 1 and some of page, with no real rhyme or reason that I can see.

Anyway, like I said: it is readable, and maybe I'm just picky.

Good luck!

1. You need a title for your page other than "index". This is what shows up in search results and what people see in their Favorites list if they bookmark the page.
2. The colors and font are kind of harsh. Try an Arial font and use bold only sparingly.
3. Your little pictures are not linked to bigger versions, which most people expect.
4. If it were me, I'd create 4 separate tables. One up top with the main building pic on the left and info on the right, and then three more below each with one apartment pic and details, and each with links to more photos. Use horizontal rules or table borders to separate them.

Just my two cents.

Not organized very well. Content is OK, except you have some information that the buyer won't be interested in (so, eliminate it).
