You don't understand congress, not really majority in Senate, just in Rep. ..and veto power, watch CSPAN. They are busy investigating the slugs in office.
100 days only.

First, they are not that different from republicans. Politicians of both parties care more about their own wealth and power than they do about the nation or its citizens.
More importantly, they have a razor-thin majority, Bush is still president, and Washington never gets anything done - especially in the first 6 months after a national election.
Maybe you should have paid more attention during those history, government, and civics classes in school, huh?

They're working on it. Remember, they've only bee in office less than two months.
First priorities are stopping the war, and getting the Department of Justice cleaned up.
The border problem has been ongoing for decades, and isn't going to get any worse in the next few months, so it's lower priority.
As for the gas tax, something needs to pay for all the programs that Bush wants, and unlike the past administration, the current Congress believes taxes are better than running up the national debt by trillions more dollars. So, taxes have to wait until the actual spending is reduced.

Because they are made up of too many groups that are fighting:
Liberals
Communists
blacks
latinos
anti-war hippies
These factions are fighting for control and pushing each other out of the way.
BTW, they have no interest in controlling the borders

OK, genius, I'll give you a civics lesson:
Dems took control, but control isn't the best word to describe it because Dems have a very slight advantage. This means that Republicans still have to sign off on bills in order to get them passed.
Bush has said repeatedly that he will veto any bill passed by Dems. If he does veto, then the House and Senate have to pass the bill by 2/3 majority vote, which they will never be able to do with Repubs voting against it.
You get it now, jackass? I have to answer this question daily. Before you open your big ******* mouth, maybe try to educate yourself ever so slighty so you don't look like a clueless moron.

Because your President would veto the legislation. He is in favor of high gas prices, an open border and a war without a strategy to win.

Don't leave out repealing that dreaded Patriot Act.
They think they were elected to raise minimum wage, go parading around nations our Executive has ended diplomatic relations with, and threaten to underfund our military.
Josh, you would look more educated if you could make an argument without profanity. Just trying to help.
I recall them claiming the two independents would vote with them, too. LOL

It's called VETO...i.e. Bush
* REMEMBER THE DEMOCRATS ONLY HAVE A NARROW MAJORITY, NOT THE 2/3 NEEDED TO OVERRIDE A VETO.
