On earlier missions, scientists discovered that astronauts suffered some bone and muscle deterioration because their bodies were not getting the resistance they were used to in gravity. Today, astronauts participate in a planned exercise program to counteract the effects of a near weightless environment. Flight doctors recommend fifteen minutes of exercise daily on seven-to-fourteen-day missions and thirty minutes of exercise daily on thirty-day missions. Exercising also helps people readjust more quickly to Earth's gravity when they return home.

astronauts use treadmills that are bolted down to the floor so it wont fly off, also they strap themselves down with bungee chords so THEY wont fly away. or they use exercise bikes in the same manner

and also, there is still the influence of gravity in space, the astronauts just dont feel it because they are free falling back toward earth, but they move at 175,000+ mph to stay in orbit

They have a treadmill and a stationary bicycle. They just strap themselves to the machines to use them. Suni Williams is going to run a marathon on the treadmill the same time the Boston marathon is going.

One way I know of, is they strap themselves down to a treadmill and use it that way. They are held down with like a belt around their waist that is connected to the treadmill.
