Paper for a few reasons:
1. Recyclable (more environmentally safe)
2. Offers a more structured load to carry.
3. Makes a great grade-school book cover!

Those Plastic - I can carry in 5 in Each hand BUT I need the paper ones for Empties/ect. I choose old Brown Any Day

plastic.....they have "handles" so you can grab 2-4 if they aren't too heavy and you can't do that with paper bags, which is what my sister-in-law gets....so she can pick up after her dogs in the yard....and puts the paper bags inside a plastic bag....I also "recycle" my bags to put in the waste baskets in-stead of having to buy them....Only the kitchen basket needs a larger bag....so we have to buy those....

Paper bags. I especially like the ones with the little rope handles, those are the best.
