depends on your budget.

if you're a cheapo, go with imperial palace. it's on the strip, but it's decent.

my middle of the road choice is treasure island. i LOVE TI.

and my high end choice is bellagio or venetian.

As always, Jack gave the greatest answer. It depends so much on your budget but I am going to tell you where I would stay if I didn't live here.
Keep in mind I wouldn't pay more than $100 per night and I wouldn't stay at the "Roach Motel" either.

My top 5 choices:

--New York, New York (small rooms but I love that place regardless)
--The Palms (best clubs in town, great rooms, awesome restaurants)
--Monte Carlo (decent rooms, cheap internet prices, awesome pool)
--Hard Rock (need I say more?!)
--The Luxor (cool rooms, friendly staff, moderatly priced)
