I think some religious people (not all) look down on others because they think that what the other person believes is dumb, and how could they believe that? So they look at those people as dumb. And when people do bad stuff they think themselves better because,"they would never do that!" I am religious and I am not like this and know tons of people who are religious and not like this. Mostly its the older people who are set in there ways. Also it's not only religious people. It is so easy to judge.

This is an issue that drive me around the twist as well. Some people fall over backwards in their efforts to please God (mostly for their own benefit). They miss the point that God's love is constant and continuous - and for everyone. Others put concern for other people first. I strongly believe that it's the things we do spontaneously that we're judged for, both by God and by other people. To answer your question, I think that some get too engrossed with the fine details (my memory's terrible so I don't bother) and miss the point that God's love has to flow through us and should be just as unconditional and spontaneous.

They are so judgemental because alot of people don't admit that they are sinners which we all are. I'm figuring that you don't believe in God which in case this would be very hard for you to understand. But also ask this question in religion.

God doesn't forgive all, if he did there wouldn't be a hell. it's true that the religious are sometimes too judgemental, but in general, i think they're more forgiving than secular people.

because they are hypocrites.

and have you ever noticed that when it comes to certain issues, these people are absolutely blind?

i mean, i've researched this, and... if people are, for example, TRULY christian, they would not eat fish. or pork. they would not wear makeup. at all. (but all too many of them look like cheap whores...) they ignore this. but when it comes to someone else's issues they get all judgemental.

i don't understand it at all.

(look at the rules of Leviticus. it's ridiculous)

i might start up via asking what foundation you have on your ideals. As you already know, issues are not authentic because of the fact we choose or have faith them to be authentic. some thing isn't authentic because of the fact i choose it to be authentic. some thing isn't authentic because of the fact i've got faith this is authentic. issues are authentic via distinctive characteristic of their essence. you may desire to try this perception that the God of Islam, Judiasm and Christianity are manifestations of the same God. i come across that the extra people look into that question, the extra they discover that the conceptions of "God" provided in each and each is rather on the same time unique and unfavorable to a minimum of one yet another. i do no longer say this to be an exclusivist or holier than thou as some people assume. I choose that they'd all in simple terms be distinctive perspectives of the same God, the religions would desire to dissolve their transformations and we could in simple terms get in one enormous circle and sing we are the worldwide. however the extra you learn rigoriously, the extra you will substitute into conscious that those religions are diametrically unfavorable. i might start up via thinking your foundation for perception. Why do you have faith there's a "God?" Why do you assume that God is similar to Allah? Why do you have faith in sin and which you incredibly choose forgiving of it? How has he taught us to stay...this is totally distinctive interior the countless holy books? What i'm getting at is to aim and verify the source of your perception. Is it a text fabric, a feeling, a rational deduction, heresay? enable me additionally answer this style. i've got faith interior the God as printed interior the bible. i've got faith the bible demonstrates to divine in preference to human in foundation. this is examined the two objectively and subjectively. i urge you to %. up a bible and examine. detect it and ask God to bare to you no rely if this is the reality or of guy. Take that sincerity earlier God and ask him to bare himself to you. Pour your self out earlier him in prayer and ask if he's Allah or no longer. in case you earnestly seek for him in this style, with an open recommendations and an open heart i've got faith he will answer you and show himself to you.
