Yes, I have always been a leader. I never like being a follower. As a child I would make up new rules for the games. I never gave into peer pressure. I got into trouble own my own. I have made my own way in life. I always thought that I was worth more than what a employer would pay, so I started my own business 15 years ago and then bought another a few years ago and ran them both the way I wanted to. They both are very successful.
Now about the skill part. You learn skills, make mistakes and then perfect them. You either have Type A personality or Type B. You can't have too many chiefs and not enough indians. You just have it or you don't. there is nothing wrong with being either.

Well, I was born and I have lead. You can make a decision on that. Leading is definitely a skill whether or not one can learn it, is up in the air for me. I've seen a lot of people study it that I would not follow. And I have followed those that claim no skill willingly without question.

No. I'm trying to learn leadership skills myself. I'm doing this by taking Toastmasters. I am more of a follower than a leader which stinks! I pray the Lord can change that for me in the future.

Leaders are born, but there is still some skills they can learn in order to "sharpen up their craft".

neither, really... i'm not much of a leader (but i suppose when i have to i do.... so i'm gonna say its a skill i've learned)
