It depends on what characteristics one considers to be sexy. I happen to be very pale (I think the sun BLEACHES me rather than tans) but my personal preference is for darker-skinned types who I think are more attractive. By the same token, there will be those who think the opposite. Despite all the health warnings about the dangers of tanning, the popularity of sunbeds does not seem to have diminished - and just look at the enormous range of self-tanning products now available. I don't think all these people are tanning in order for their skin to be a shade which better matches their clothes or decor, rather they think it makes them look more attractive.

My skin can be almost see through, so when I get a tan, I look healthier, but I don't feel any more sexy. The bags under my eyes show a lot less.

No i have naturally fair skin and feel sexy and attractive to my hubby just the way i am. I'd look silly with fake tan and don't tan too well anyway. It'll age u quicker!!

No as too much sun makes you look like a leather handbag ! my friend is always on the sunbeds and sunbathing in OIL of all things and she looks like cornelius off planet of the apes not a pretty sight !!

Actually, it depends on allot of things. it depends on how well you tan for one. then it depends on the relationship of your eyes and hair to your skin. For example, some redheads do not tan very well at all and just doesnt look good at all. Most brunettes do look sexier. As with blondes, it depends on their skin tone mostly.

not me, i get loads of compliments on my fair skin. i look 10 y ears younger than i am because i've never had a tan, and no i don't look sick and wan! i don't think it would look good on me even if i wanted it and i feel sexy with my pale skin.

Absolutely!! I have a tanning bed in my basement but right now, I am as white as paper.

yeah it does. i think it makes you look a little healthier and therefore ya feel good and sexy... ya teeth look a little bit whiter and you just glow...so yeah ya feel brill and sassy and sexy for sure......
