I love Chicago- the first concert I ever went to as a teen was a Chicago concert! I was stood up by a prospective date :( but it did not matter Chicago was great and I lost nothing from him not being there.
I love all of their music,
some of my favs are "Colour My World", "Hard to Say I'm Sorry", "You're the Inspiration", "Love me Tomorrow", and "Saturday in the Park"
There are so many more! Now I need to go and listen to some Chicago :)

My gosh, yes. They're touring with the great band "America" and coming to my area soon, but I just don't have the money to afford it. *Sob* If anyone has bought Boston tickets but realize they no longer want or can use them, I would be happy to take them as charity! :)
My favorite? That's a REALLY tough one. If I had to choose one I'd probably go for "If You Leave Me Now", simply because it's one of the most beautiful songs ever written. I may be the only one, but another huge favorite of mine is "Baby, What A Big Surprise". I love the chorus, the flow, the way the voices come in together like they would on a symphony. The Beach Boys had that same talent, especially on songs like "God Only Knows" and "Good Vibrations".
Otherwise, I don't believe a there is an existing Chicago song I don't like, although I'm not too crazy about Cetera's solo stuff.

I am a muso who used to play in a band and included jazz-rock in the programme. This meant BS&T, Chicago and similar. We were limited as per brass/wind instrumentation, unlike the world famous Blood,Sweat & Tears who were College trained musicians and leant from Classical/Jazz towards a rock sound. Not easy to achieve in those days. Chicago Transit Authority worked from rock towards Jazz. Later they dropped Transit Authority from their name. If I remember correctly, Terry kath the guitarist played Russian Roulette and lost - shot himself dead. Peter Cetera, singer/bassist
released successful singles which still get airplay today.
I feel that 25 or 6 to 4 is about the most well-known song and I approve of just about every aspect of it. Probably my personal favourite Chicago track! Great brass arrangement,
well balanced rhythm section strong vocals and the lyrics are
intelligible. Arthur S

I'm very fond of the track 25 or 6 to 4. Are they still recording? Do they still give their albums numbers instead of names?
When I first heard of the band, via the music press, I thought they were called 'Chic Ago'!

Yeah, I was born in Chicago and lived there during the sixties and seventies.
'Saturday In The Park' and 'Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is' are two of my favorites.
