um a divorced woman getting in aseriuos relationship with aman and i dont know what to advice him to deal with my little girl 4 yers old to gain her love

Just to be his self. Nothing fake or she will pick up on that. Treat both of you good and this little girl will someday love him, it takes time.

It can be very hard, trust me i have been there. same age too. Only thing is my daughters father died so it was hard for both of us. He just has to be very patient and try to ignore the rude comments cause its a child. My 4 year old went as far as saying, my daddy is stronger and bigger and better than you! as he was trying to help her break her lobster at dinner. try and bond and go places together. Maybe not always round so much in the beginning. do things she like. I wish you the best, I married that man 11 years ago. Now, she thinks he is the greatest! God Bless

Well myself coming from nearly the same situation as your daughter, you CAN"T do anything. All he can do is be there and teach her the rights and wrongs of the world. Fun things are a plus but it may take her years to 'love' him. In my case my step father didn't care so I hated him! If he shows her respect and a 'certain' level of disipline they should be ok.

treat her as he would any 4 year old. go to park, zoo, pic nic talk with her just let it go from there no one can force love on or out of a child he must be patient with her
