Does the thought that their are youngsters on here alter your answers?

I've occasionally had a particularly naughty answer in mind, when I think, 'Wait, this person might be 12.'

'there'. I hate it when I do that.

You can usually tell by their spelling, I have found.
That sounds an awful thing to say, but I use that as my measure.

I do have them in mind. But, I also have these things in mind:

What if this person's a reporter?
What if they are easily offended?

And, I know for a fact after doing presentations in many high schools, that kids of this generation can have particularly naughty minds. They're just immature with the information they have. Now, I have seen some 8-year-olds on here, and they scare me a bit. I think the parents should be responsible for what enters the minds of their "darling little angels".

yes it does alot and i once asked about age groups in a question,i just see the questions and answer ones that catch my eye and seem interesting and appear to be asked by adults, sometimes u lose it when u answer but i try as much as possible to give a mature answer, and avoid the kids or letting an 12 or 13 year old hear something he shouldnt.

Yeah I think it does and should, and sometimes I think it is all too easy for all of us to forget that some of these people are actually very young people. Perhaps like others have said it would be great to have two sections with one of them an adult section and one where the young ones could be? That is not up to me though, it is just a suggestion that I think I agree with.

nope, doesn't change my anwers
they say 60 is the new 40, and 12 is the new 21, so I figure we all meet in the middle somewhere. I don't entertain any naughty thoughts or bad language so I don't change my answers either.

I've thought about it occasionally. I can sometimes tell who the little ones are and don't answer their questions.

I don't worry about the kids so much as not being able to express myself with out being reported. Or for people being way too serious.

Not really. I talk on here as if I was in my mom's house.. I wasn't raised that way.
I'm not saying I'm an angel.. not by a long shot. but there's a time and place for stuff like that I don't think that a public forum such as this needs it.

Yes, it is a concern of mine. I have come up with some answers I've had to alter, also.

Yes! Instead of Top Contributor under an avatar, they should put Under 18.

Unless I feel I am alone with a particular person or group of persons, I assume there is someone else able to listen.
