LOL Sanjaya, I've never really gotten into American Idol, but one day a month or two ago I just flipped it on to that, and he happened to be sing, therefor I knew he would win, why? because he's indian.
One question though, why is it sanjayA? I know other kids with the name sanjay

Hi,
Your english is a bit bad? not sure what you mean by 'A I Indian'...I am guessing you are talking about Sanjaya from American Idol.... the REAL ANSWER is 'No' he is not from India.... he and his sister are of mixed Italian and Indian heritage, but he does not live there.
He was born in the Seattle bay area to a Bengali Indian father and an Italian American mother. He has never been to India and his parents are separated and lived with his mother in Seattle. His mother remarried, but his stepfather died soon afterwards.
SO.... NO HE IS NOT FROM INDIA!

yea he is half indian. His dad is Indian. Sanjay is a very Indian name...the westerners pronounce it as sanjayA.
I doubt if he has ever been to India though.
And i think his singing sucks. but yea sure the tenagers find him cute..so way to go sanjaya.

He's from Federal Way, WA, about half an hour south of Seattle...I assume he's of Indian decent (as in from India, not "Native American")
