I love Opera music but don't have many friends who do. I believe it is an aquired taste. In younger years, didn't care for it much either.

My dad's an Opera singer so I understand being the only person for miles that actually enjoys the opera. And so far my favorite opera's have been Voltaire's Candide and La Damnation de Faust. They're both really great live.

if i liked opera it would be a rossini or a mozart or a wagner since all three are quite good in their area of expertise.
