Yes I do. I battled cancer very early in my adult life when my youngest child was 5 months old and now I have 7 grandchildren. Yes I have been blessed and I thank God every day.

Yes. I struggle financially, and have no family nearby for support, but I'm incredibly thankful for what I have. I have had many long term bouts of serious depression that showed me what it's like to want to die and to feel worthless. I spent a lot of time learning what I want from life and am now happy knowing I'm working towards being a better person and doing good in the world. Life will never be perfect, but I know how to deal with that, and have no desire to end up materialistic.

I don't live in the lap of luxury but I get by. I feel I am fortunate just having the things I have.

Yes I've made many new friends and the guys in my cell block even promised me a blanket party later . I'm not sure what that means but it sounds like they are going to do something really great for me .

yes ,i would . my family has food to eat and nice clothes to wear ,and a roof over their heads . thats pretty fortunate ,i would say ,many people in the world we live dont have anything more than a boogie to eat ,no change of clothes ,and no home.

My husband and I own a home, are happily married, and have a healthy daughter. So yes, I classify myself and fortunate.
