eg. during the Ashes, I don't think Flintoff was the right choice for captain.

I think Strauss is better suited for the job.

What do you think?

WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT KEVIN PIETERSEN ????

I feel we should get rid of Vaughan. He's an excellent captain but his batting has become feeble. Strauss can do the job par excellence. Flintoff has to bowl, excessively, and bat as well, often in critical situations. He is a brilliant cricketer, but captaincy on top of his crucial roles as bowler and batsman would drain the best of men.

What about Hoggard as captain? He is our most shrewd bowler, he has obvious knowledge of pitch conditions and how the weather and atmospherics affect the ball; he has more than enough experience at Test level. He has a level head, is totally un-histrionic, is a decent spud. He has a gut feeling for cricket, especially the Test game. Hoggard as Test captain; Strauss for the one-dayers. Posh Spice can captain any 20/20 side we put up, as far as my concern goes.

Strauss is about as inspiring as a wet sponge, plus he has exactly the same lack of form that Vaughan is struggling with. I'd stick with Freddie..the lack of success in Australia was more to do with the Aussies being too good than us being bad.

Failing that, I'd consider Collingwood as a possible skipper in one-dayers.

Definitely Strauss - he's the most experienced captain from the other players, but I'd hate to see Vaughan go, despite his lack of form with the bat - he's a well respected captain as far as the team is concerned.

You are right about Strauss but they may try Flintoff again.

Chris Adams, if we think that playing someone for the sake of being a good captain, as must be the case in the world cup with Vaughan.

Strauss but he is struggling with the bat as well so I'm gonna say Paul Collingwood

he can bat, bowl and he is the best fielder...he will push his teammates to give it their all on the field. He is a veteran so i think his teammates will respect him.

Vaughan is a great captain. He dont have a replacement in England team. If he go out England team turns like Ireland team .

Strauss would be fine - except he doesn't always hold his place in the One Day team.

Collingwood is a good shout.
