We live in a capitalist world, where the only thing Presidents can worry about is money. Going to Iraq gives easy access to oil. Wonder why petrol (or gas as u may call it) is so expensive in the UK but not in the US? Cos of that. He's trying to force the entire world into capitalism like Nixon did when assasinating the first democratically elected communist leader (and America declared the war on communism the war on dictatorships? NO!). Money rules the Earth, and for one person to get rich 20 have to get poor. Sitting at our computers we're the success stories of capitalism; think about the millions in Africa starving cos of us and George Bush.

I'm glad somebody has asked this question. On behalf of the UK I'd like to ask the same question of Mr Tony Blair. Have we such a glut of young men and women that their frequent and steady demise matters not? In Afghanistan too, there has recently been 4 deaths, the age of the soldiers involved 21 to 26. This shocks me to the bone, it upsets me deeply. I don't know why our young men and women are dying in these foreign fields. So Mr Tony Blair - Do you not care?

He likes sending them because none are related to him that's why! He never did care about anyone being killed! His sorry a-s-s- needs to be shipped over there so he can pull what's left of his friend to safety only to die in his senseless war!

What a moronic question. Presidents have never "liked" sending soldiers into harms way, not now or ever.
Why do you think the presidency ages people so rapidly....but it's called protecting the United States and it is their Constitutional duty.

History only writes about leaders who fought wars. He wants to be remembered.

And as you see from this page there is no shortage war maniacs ready to support them, from the comfort of their arm chairs, of course.
