My daughter is. We have a rule, though, that she has to eat three big bites of everything on her plate before she's allowed to leave the table. Tonight, I made spaghetti. She loves spaghetti, so when she sat down, I said "Are you going to eat a lot, sweetie?" and she said "Yup. I'm gonna eat EIGHT big bites."

Before anyone asks, yes this is really me. I'm on under a different account because I got bored and am out of Q & As on my other one.

I think i might be the pickiest person ever when it comes to eating. I don't like most foods that other people like. Example: Strawberries, salads, etc.

Nice to meet you Jenny. Hope you don't get bored too easily.

To answer your question, eating is one of my nicer habits, I have others that involve the mouth, but we won't get into that. I have eaten lots of different foods in many countries and all, with the exception of one or two, have been marvelous adventures of the palette. Now that I am more than young (slightly), I still find adventure in eating, finding that fantastic flavor or that wonderful smell or even an unusual presentation. A picky eater, hardly.

I have probably gone on long enough, but I must say just one more thing. Your daughter is probably in a phase where she thinks that unless it is her favorite food, it does not taste good. (Both of mine went through that, as well as my son). She will grow out of it, if not it is possibly time to take action to head off a serious eating disorder.

I would hope that no one would have access to your pics, that would be creepier than creepy so I believe it is you. Uhm...no, I am not a picky eater, I grew up in a large family and you ate what was there or you didn't eat. My daughter, however, like yours, is very picky. I do love the faces she makes when she tries something she finds horrible-tasting, I have to turn away and compose myself.

Yes. I don't eat anything that is chunky, junkfoody, or.....if it has something in it that I don't like. I've got to be the weirdest half mexican in the world.....I don't like tamales. Everybody thinks that's freaky. I'm just picky. I don't like Spaghetti sauce on my spaghetti; my food's got to be prepared a certain way........

Well I don't think so, but most people think I am. I mean, what's the big deal if I don't eat tomatoes, cabbage, lettuce, bananas, olives, garlic, octopus, liver, any meat with fat on it, spinach, most cheeses, cake, onions, kiwi, mayonnaise and many other things. They're overreacting, don't you think?

Very much so. I used to be really horrid as a kid (or so I'm told).
I only eat soft food nowadays. I like it to be mushy. Dont' ask me why, but I do.
