Yes, I think him siding with Voldermort at the end of the last book is a play and he's likely to be the hero in the end.

he's a great character and Alan Rickman was the best actor to play him. Alan Rickman has a kind of charm that's appealing.
I can't believe he's still a death eater!!

The character im not so sure whose side he is on. part of me hates him part of me thinks he isnt so bad.
i think that the actor does an awesome job at playing snape!
