k, its obvious that these movies were about patriotism and were praised by the audiences and jury. anyways, they both show the extreme ways, 1 bout bhagat singh and chandrasekhar azad, and the other about gandhi.
So... coming to the awards,
Star Screen Awards- RDB just got better than LRMB
Filmfare Awards- RDB ra*pes LRMB
Zee Cine Awards- RDB beats LRMB
GIFA- RDB and LRMB ties, but LRMB just over RDB
India's entry to the Academy Awards- RDB
IIFA- yet to come
So its obvious, RDB sweeps the awards section...
and yes RDB also has a bigger fan support(because RDB never lost the popular awards)
but, do u think gandhi values didnt hit hard as Bhagat Singh's?
If u ask me, RDB is 10X better then LRMB

What I think is that both the movies had something to do for the nation but RDB was in the little bit of a trendy manner and Lage Raho in a decent way. More gripping I found Lage Raho 'cause fro the beginning the movie had created the atmosphere of patriotism but i RDB it took some time to come.

The liking of a movie or to that matter anything in life will depend upon person to person, i.e. one which I like may not be to the liking of another person.
Any way as far as I am concerned my vote goes for RDB
