Why is it okay for Hillary to make the comment of "We don’t need to be engaging in racist, sexist remarks. Let’s respect each other." - Directed to the Rutgers team.....

and THEN - have the Rap artist "Timbaland" who has "******", "bit*es", and "hoes" in his lyrics do a fundraiser at $1,000 a head for her presidential campaign!

I don't understand this logic?!? It tickes me off to no end!! The black community SOMEHOW doesn't seem to be outraged by this two-faced-ism of Hillary!!!

Why is that?!?

Hillary is after all a politician. And she can do this because it is a free country. Now to what these other are saying about it being 'ok' within certain cultures and such. It's not! Using such words is never ok and people need to wake up and smell the coffee and stop encouraging it. Everyone in the US has the right to free speech, however we don't have to buy their CD's and we don't have to listen.

It's an insider/outsider kind of thing.
That has been explained here on Answers over and over - when a black person mocks black culture in a song - it is not the same as a white person calling a specific black person a 'ho.

You don't understand this logic because you WANT to be ticked off to no end!!

There's a big difference. Saying racial slang or sexist slang in a public vicinity will ensure alot of "disrespect." Now saying these terms when it's par with your status, and your job is different. For a public image to say this, it would be ridiculous, this is because the public image has access to everyone, those who are there but don't want to listen. A rapper has a fanbase, one that will listen to him and buy his music. This fanbase is generally the poor-middle class youth of America (both black and white). Generally, youth don't care what one says in their writing, but adults do. Unfortunately, for those who do care, it's a freedom of speech, granted by the first amendment. And since "rapping" isn't illegal, we have to sadly live with it.

Also yes... it has to do with your own kind. If I'm Italian, which I am, I can go around and call other Italians (dego), but to make sure they know I'm Italian. If a black person goes around saying (*****, ******, niglet, ***.. or anyother form of this derogatory slang) he will not have anything done to him since he's also making fun of himself. But, if I go and call someone a dego or ******, then I am being racist because I'm intentionally outraging these people, and since I'm done "one of them" I'm not making fun of myself.
