Unified school boards?

What are your opinions on Ottawa's recent attempt to unify the Catholic and Public School Boards, on the basis that it saves money, and it is unfair that the Catholic system in Ontario is the only religious school to get funding (even though they are partially protected by the constitution)

Seems like if they (the Catholics) take the money, they should be subject to board control.
