Like did they have green screens? like for example how do they put the girl together while king kong and the dinasour were fightting?

I am with Space ac...they used toys little cars etc etc...did the stop action...to me the old ones are so funny!!!!
If you watch close you can tell they have toy cars etc. oh it is so funny, and I love the way their mouths move after the sentence!!! Oh you make me want to watch one!!!!

I don't believe they green screens back then, because on the news doing the weather they used a board and some magnets for clouds and stuff.
I think most of it was made with toy type figures, and editing I think has always been around.

Stop motion. Also, some poor guy had to wear the gorilla suit. When the girl was in Kong's hand...it was mechanical.

They had the technology then to overlay scenes, like the girl in the foreground while the creatures were battling.

they hired a big ape and a dinosaur to do a fight scene and the girl just had to just be there and look pretty. lol i never saw it so i don't know...i would say something held up the girl on a green screen and they just added the ape afterwards.
