Cos if it were easy to get, you wouldn't want it as much.

Do you want to know why or do you want a solution?
Here's both.
Why: It's mindset. It SEEMS hard because when we put all of our energy into thinking about what we want, we only intensifying the wanting, without making any headway into the getting.
Solution:
Start by shifting your focus to what you already have and your attitude toward gratitude for what you already have. What is going well? What is not as bad as it could be? These things are worth your attention. If you take on an attitude of gratitude (no rhyme intended) for what exists in your life, you will begin to recognize how much you really have. And while you are busy recognizing how lucky you actually are to be where you are in your life, you will simultaneously attract the very things you want more of. And you will feel doubly blessed because you will both receive more of the things you want in your life AND you will perceive more things that are already in your life as the gems they truly are.
You can't lose if you really try it. But this is a drastic change in life approach (from believing that it is so hard to get what you want), so if this doesn't resonate with you, it's not likely to work. If you really want to try it, check your self-help section.

Because life takes Visa, your rental agreement doesn't :-(
You need a good job, or better yet, act like you are better than everyone else so that you get paid lots of money to be an actress and life is very easy....except for that nasty divorce business, then I guess we humans are just looking for love, in the first place.
Look to God, instead. No matter where you are, He will give you that stability that you need. Whether finances, personal life, etc. God always will accept you, same with a church.

It isn't always hard. Sometimes you think you know what you want, but in reality, you want something else. And if you do know what you want, most people aren't patient enough to go through the steps necessary to achieve it. You can't want to be a millionaire, and not go through some sort of steps to get it. If you want a man/woman, you need to woo first.

you should try "wanting" to finish jigsaw puzzles designed for ages 2-4. you should finish one in about an hour, and despite a few rough patches, you'll get it done, I'm sure.
once you have something, you no longer want it. if you have it, then it's not hard to get it (since you already have it). which leaves you only to desire the things that you still want. and since you don't have them, you'll need to get it. this can be hard (if you "want" to be a doctor), or easy (if you "want" to be the champion of jigsaw puzzles designed for 2-4 year olds).
if what you want is too hard to get, maybe you should aim lower. like jigsaw puzzles?
idiot.

Why is it always hard to get what you want? For the same reason such is simple to make change happen or hinder a positive existence.

not everything is hard to get, it varies, depending on what it is and what you got. Besides when you have to work for something it gives you a sense of achievement, which is great for your self esteem and lets you know nothing is impossible if your willing to work for it.

Who knows what they REALLY want anymore? What we crave as individuals changes on a daily or even hourly basis.
And when we are sure we want something it is never easy because as humans we want what we can't have. It sucks man, but haven't you heard that phrase "nothing good comes easy?"
Keep your chin up.

It's not hard to get what you want. You just have to have realistic expectations, and work hard toward your goals.

everybody has ambitions and aims, it's not easy to reach them, some people spend their whole lifetime just to reach them, it's the point of living, if u get everything easy, then you'll have nothing to look forward in life...
