It's those new PETA rules. They don't smack the chickens around to tenderize em they way they used to.

I have noticed a little bit but I'd rather live til I'm 100 & eat one kfc a week than have the trans fats back & only live another 10 years!

Since I haven't consumed anything from KFC in about 11 years... I guess I've missed out on the taste-change !!

Oh... and my not eating at KFC isn't a "PETA" type thing... just a general avoidance of fast-food.

I DO miss the old original recipe !

Isn't it enough that it retains its own fat and is breaded with a ton of salt? You can fry your own chicken, of course. They still sell lard. That's what most people used before the healthier trans fats came along. I still like Dieffenbach's potato chips. Ingredients: potatoes, lard, salt.
