Oh tell me about it.. So long as they're good to look at no one seems to care if they can even play an instrument or sing for that matter. So many "singers" have their voices changed using computers and whatnot for their CD's. They can't even sing live because, well, they CAN'T sing in the first place.

What ever happened to good music.

C'mon... it's all about how you LOOK now!
The music doesn't even matter anymore.

Now that you don't have to play an instrument, you can pay OTHER people to do that stuff. Or just sample someone else doing it.

Yeah, the whole thing sucks... but I take comfort in some of the noveau-alternative bands coming up now that DO actually play their own instruments.

All the same, I don't bother listening to pop anymore - the underground is where it's at.

To be honest, I hate A Skylit Drive and As Blood Runs Black. However, We Came as Romans are pretty decent. There are some key bands you forgot there, but that's unimportant. Regardless, while oftentimes I find older music is better than some of the newer stuff, that doesn't always apply. Some of my favorite bands are from more recent times. My second favorite band formed in '93 (Floater, from Oregon) and my favorite folk metal band (Tuatha de Danann, Celtic folk from Brazil) formed in 1995. So I agree with you. Although Elitists of any genre are f*cking twatbag morons, the Classic Rock Elitists are some of the most annoying.

I understand. I'm a singer, songwriter and musician ( I play several instruments) and I been trying to get a break for years! It seems like these days, the music industry just want fake commercial people who just plain @#%!@&^% suck!!!! It's not fair to people like me!

Damn straight, "good" music as a whole died in America in like 1995.
