what is in the long john silvers batter?

It just comes in a bag, that they employees add water to, and put it in a mixer and mixes it up. I'm sure that the ingredients are listed on the box the bags of batter come in. Ask to see an ingredient list next time you're at LJS.

If I'm not mistaken, it's just a "tempura" type batter and I have seen that type in stores near the fish counter.
