Everyone has 2 sets of grandparents but some may not know them. My children are lucky to still have a grandad who is now 85. Seen so many things for my grandchildren hes a great grandfather but there are no others left as they have all now died,
I remember my own grandparents with such pleasure I even lived with my nan when I was younger

Both my grandads are dead but I have both my nannys which I'm very grateful for. I miss both of my grandads. Especially my mums dad because my family always say how like him I am. I also have a step grandad as my mums mum got married last year :-), my stepgrandad is great, he and his wife were friends with my nanny and grandad for a long time and both my grandad and Molly (my step grandads wife) died of cancer a long time ago (over 10 years ago) and so my nanny and steve have been together as companions since then, they decided to get married cos they both had a bit too much to drink in a pub one day and decided they wanted a big party. Generally I'm against getting married more than once but in this case it was different because neither was trying to replace the other persons original partner and I was, and still am, so happy that I've had the chance to see my nanny and steve happy again. Also Steves daughter was happy because at nearly 40 she got what she always wanted, (albeit step)brothers and sisters!

Well, as a biological life form, of course I had grandparents.
But if you mean are my grandparents still living, then no. My paternal grandmother---my last living grandparent--- passed away last November at the ripe old age of 91.

My Grandfather was alive until about 5 years ago and I am very glad that I knew him.
He was a miner in Staffordshire most of his life and was involved in a few rather nasty Pit accidents but survived everything.
My Grandmother sadly passed away before I was grown enough to remember her.
The story I will never forget was from my Grandad.
My Nan was cooking in the kitchen when she saw a rat in the garden. She was horrified and rushed out to chase it.
The rat went to go under the coal bunker and my nan threw the chopper that she was holding. She thought she had missed the rat but years later when the coal bunker was removed by my dad and uncle, they found a rat with the chopper in its back!
What a woman she must have been!!

When I was born, I had both sets of Grandparents, and one from each couple of my Great Grandparents. I was six years old, before I lost my first one.

Biologically speaking, we all have grandparents. Knowing what you mean...
when I was an infant I had 4 grandparents, my father's father and my mother's adoptive father both were diead by the time I was 8 months old. My father's mother died when I was 8 years old. that left me with my granny, my mother's mother, who lived to the grand old age of 92, 2 weeks shy of her 93rd birthday.
For different reasons, they are all special to me.
Having said that, I can't help but wonder... who was my biological grandfather (mother's father.) My grandmother steadgfastly refused to reveal his name, and brought the secret with her to her grave.
cheers.

Yes, although I never really had the chance to meet one of my grandpa's, he died when i was 3 months old, he was said to be a good man the whol vilage loved him, my other grandpa, doesn't even care, he has his dogs and his hunting, my grandma comes from the village for 20 days, stays for 19 days at my cousin's and 1 day with me, she's always like "your cousin this and your cousin that" my other grandma is my favorite, cause she actually loves me, too bad i only get to see her 3 times a year cause she lives very far away.
