For the reaction

SO2 + O2 → SO3

160.00 g of O2 are completely reacted with an excess of the other reactant.

If the percent yield is found to be 91.54 %, how many grams of SO3 are actually produced ?

Balancing the equation,
2SO2 + O2 → 2SO3
O2==>32 g/M
SO3 ==> 32.065 + 3*16 = 80.065 g/M
"expected yield"
Y/160.13 = 160/32 = 5
Y = 800.65 g ≈ 801 g
y = 91.54*800.65/100
y = 732.91501 g ≈ 733 g
