My friend broke the shifter on the steering column on my truck. He broke the base of the shifter (where the pin goes). Now I am trying to find a place that has the parts to fix this rather than buying a whole new steering column new or used.

Actually, its probably easier and cheaper to get a used column and just replace the whole thing and swap out the ignition cylinder.

that would desire to b alot of issues caliper grabing rotor , undesirable tie rod ends , ball joint, low means steer fluid , tires would desire to b unbalanced , undesirable rack n pinion , get below front end look 4 leaks or worn aspects

Go to the auto wreckers and ask for one. It is not a big deal to changeit
