Becky was experimenting with coins. She had two coins,one coin had tails on both sides, the other had one tail and one head, Becky flipped the coin four times. What are all the possible outcomes? List them.

The one coin is going to have tails no matter what. The other coin can get tails 0,1,2,3 or 4 times. So total you can get:
4t - 4h,
5t - 3h,
6t - 2h,
7t - 1h or
8t - 0h

These are just the possible outcomes, but they are not all equally likely.

For each flip there are 2 possibilities:
2 tails
or 1 tail and 1 head.
So if we make a tree diagram, we find the following
possibilities:
8 tails
7 tails and 1 head
6 tails and 2 heads
5 tails and 3 heads
or
4 tails and 4 heads.
