It seems like one possible solution would be to provide Iran with a charitable gift of a nuclear power plant (much like France did for the US with the statue of liberty). If this were done then Iran would have no real excuse to continue on with their plans for uranium enrichment, ect. It is also possible that this action could sway some of the peoples of this area towards a better outlook on the westerners.

Hahaha! was that even an option Iran would allow? I really never thought about it.
If we could have gotten them to agree to let us come in and build a plant and run it along side them... wouldn't that have allowed us to feel good about having oversight of what they were doing??
Would Iran even allow that tho... seems like a decent option but it could be frowned upon by the Iranian people as if we were babysitting them...

I think its too late now, no? didn't they just report Iran had 3,000 enrichment facilities as opposed to the 300 we thought they had... putting them up to levels of industrial production...?

That might work if they already thought like westerners - the old "you scratch my back and I'll scratch yours" theory. But they don't. They serve Allah, who demands that all infidels be killed. If we provided them with a nuclear plant, they would thank Allah for bringing us into submission. Then they'd nuke us to please Allah.
