i have the screen out now, but do i have to use a staple gun to get the new screen in because when i took it out it didnt have any staples, it look like the molding was just glued on and maybe i can just stick the molding back in since its a tight fit.

If there is a groove in the frame then take a butter knife and run it in the groove. It will secure the screen.. NO one will ever know!!

Take it and get it fixed. If you're putting in a screen, it takes a lot of patience and practice, just pay to get it done.
