I've been in relationship for five years with a man. It's been going down hill for the past couple of years. Suddenly, I find myself wanting women and one in particular, I think I'm in love with. She is the most beautiful woman in the world- at least top ten. I probably don't have a chance with her because she is out of my league and she knows about my relationship... I am so confused!! Also, if I do break it off, how do I not crush him?

Just to clarify, I am a man. Even if I don't get her, should I still break it off?

Discuss this with your boyfriend and if it doesn't work out, than you guys should break it off.

Wow hun, that's a doozy.

First, let me say this: Don't stress about falling for a woman - sexuality is fluid and love is not and never has been bound by gender. Haha, I am a gay woman and was with a gay man for a year and a half.

As far as breaking it off with your partner - make sure you are doing this for the right reasons. If the relationship has been going south, I'm sure he has felt it, too. Sit down and talk with him about it. See how he feels, talk about where the relationship has been going. He may feel like its time to break it off, too. Even if he doesn't... if he loves you, he wouldn't want you to be in an unhappy relationship. Bottom line, though, you need to talk to him.

Well, you will break his heart if you have been with him as a partner for 5 years. You need to think this over before making any announcements. It could be that you are not "gay" but you are "bi." Have you thought of that? If that is the case, you should sit down with your partner and discuss your thoughts. It doesn't matter that you think she is beautiful or not. The decision to date you will be made by her, not you. You also say you are "in love" with her. That is impossible since love needs to be on both sides, not just one-sided. It sounds to me like you may be bored in your relationship and are kind of intrigued with her as a woman, wondering if you are missing something. Think about it before you make any announcements to anyone because this just doesn't affect only you.

It depends on how well you know the woman. Just because she's beautiful doesn't mean you should break off a five-year relationship because of her. If you do decde to break it off, just lay down the facts in a gentle way. Good luck

well you have tested out the "waters" now for five years and maybe its not who you really are. if you really like this woman than try to persue a realationship. Do this by being yourself and dont worry about her being out of your league all women are self-concious of something or just themself, so make her feel good and give her lots of compliments, love, and show her that you can protect her. Good luck bud. thats difficult....

Uhm your lust for her may have to do with your current relationship if it's gone that far downhill. So maybe you should end it if there's no fixing it, then see how you feel for her.

If you're sexually attracted to her, then you could be bi, which itself isn't abnormal. Just make sure you have a sexual attraction, because you cannot force that part for very long if you aren't. You must be able to satisfy a woman, otherwise she'll just be unhappy with you.

Life is what you make of it. Life isn't destined by the stars.

Give it a try, you may like the change. Even if things don't go well with this one, there are many women who would want to be with you.
