Republicans are more conservative. Democrats are more liberal. You can put liberal and conservative on a continuum and put a bell curve in between and you will see a good picture of how things look. Ideas that come from the extreme ends of the curve (either side ) are almost always bad. In my view the best answers come from the liberal side of the center of the bell.

I have always said the truth lies in the middle someplace. Compromise is the best thing, but with the reds unwilling to do that it is real hard to negotiate anything to get anything done. This is to bad that we have degenerated into a we vs. them society and I am sure it will change soon but for the moment we are in big trouble. .

Very possible.That's why ALL sides need to listen to each other.One can't proclaim himself the "Decider"and others don't need to do everything under the sun in rebellion.We have a White House full of children and I'm frankly sick of all of them.

Not as an individual party. If they could all work together for the good of our country instead of vetoing good ideas and finger pointing and blaming maybe we could rise out of this mire.

well the liberals don't have it and neither do the other dozens of parties. But, that's the reason the ultimate is to stive for a consensus.
