Lets not deny or neglect the fact that we all can use a little guiding light from a lamp/s. (As long as it doesn't have an hour glass shape or any holes on it,I wouldn't worry bout him loving the lamp but more or less what he does with it.) It's not much different from one loving a car or a pair of shoes. Your friend must be single and lonely. He might need help finding someone to love him back to get his mind off the lamp.

I suspect he's talking about the shape or the color of the lamp or the hue it gives off giving the room an essence.
Maybe he will become a home designer and they make good money.

Yes, you should be concerned. It puts you in a bad light.

Your friend and his lamp are not bright.

Really as long as your friend can support the lights bulbs why should any of us care. I hope your friend and the lamp are very happy together.

does he really love the lamp? or is he just looking around the room and saying he loves whatever he sees?

I saw the movie Anchorman and I know what you're talking about. I remember that from the movie. "what do you love?" "uh... I love, lamp" "are you just looking at things in this room and saying you love them?"

NO ! Lamp love is natural and pure and for one completely support Lamp Love.

Just don't let him kiss her when she is "on". He will burn his tongue even its she has a low watt light bulb.

And also tell him not to stick his dick in her socket while she is plugged in.

No he most likely just looked at the first thing he saw in your office and claimed to love it to feel good about himself. Try explaining what true love is to him by singing in three-part harmony version of "Afternoon Delight", that oughta set him straight.

Is he a DIMWIT? He may be suffering from extreme BURNOUT. When you see him, does he ask you WATTS new? He could be trying to save ENERGY!! Maybe he needs a good old fashion 3 way relationship. If he continues with this fantasy, take him to see a repairman, but not a shrink. Has he recently bought any new "His & Hers" lampshades?? Check to see if he's a little "LIGHT HEADED."
