Ever hear of the Caste system? Perfect example of how every culture separates its society into categories like the egg marketing board....Mankind makes divisions; in that way it seems he is in control...Take time for example...really what is time but divisions made by man. but Man can only count down the New Year Clock that he himself has pre ordained to occur according to his divisions....well depends if you are Chinese or not......then there are different divisions.
Nothing is more complicated than Man has made it so...

Try asking this question about the Indians. India makes British classism look downright egalitarian.
