Knowledge increases your chances at success, it gives you more options. And in the cases where there aren't many options from which to chose, the more knowledge you have, the better able you will be to decide which option is the correct one for you.

Making choices with out knowledge means you are trusting luck. Knowledge decreases the odds of failure.

That doesn't mean knowledge in and of itself is a good thing. What you do with the knowledge is what can turn your knowledge into something good. Knowing how to commit a murder is rarely a good thing. But I certainly would want the police and prosecutor to know how, so they could bring the perpetrator to justice.

Where would you be if you learned something, then the next minute, had to learn the same thing again and again.. This infinite loop of trying to obtain some understanding, some knowledge..

EX:
When you first learned how to tie your shoes, you practiced many times and EUREKA!! The next time you tried you remembered how to do it.

With out knowledge you would have to repeat the same process of leaning the exact same information over and over...
Knowledge is retaining that information and being able to recall it and apply it to any situation applicable.

So my question to you is, where would we be without knowledge?
