yes that is why they put them there in hope that you will buy them it is called impulse buying

If the line is long I pick up a magazine to glance at the articles.

I just look at the pictures. I never buy any magazines. When times got tough that was one of the first things I eliminated, and so when things got better I never went back to them. I suspect that if they didn't have sex and fasions in them they would go down the tubes just like newspapers are doing now.

Yes, but only cooking magazines to decide if I want to buy them. And if I do, I always pick one from the middle instead of the first one.

yes i do, especially when the line is way long, sometimes i even buy the magazine if it's interesting enough

Just the fronts of them. Sometimes I succumb and buy that Women's World magazine.

Nope, I'm usually too busy arranging my food items so the person in line ahead of me, and behind me pay for my stuff. If I'm not doing that, then I'm checking out the check out girl as she's checking out the lady in line ahead of me checking out.

Nope! I steal candy from the racks and sometimes pens and lighters,and little game books,why the check-out chick is busy checking out customers. lol
