People fear that this will lead to human cloning and such, but what about the ability to grow body parts and organs, generating blood and bone marrow that is a perfect genetic match to the person in need.

It has resulted in several significant medical breakthroughs, and many more are likely. Hardly anyone argues with that. The progress has come from adult and umbilical cord stem cells. This work absolutely should continue. Unlike embryonic stem cell research, this does not require killing a human being. Cloning is an entirely different subject.

Abortion may be legal but it's wrong and evil and outright murder to an innocent unborn child. Think about it that child will never see daylight or laugh or ride a bike or enjoy having friends or know the love of a parent. This unborn child will never know the things that we take for granted in our everyday lifes. Plus that child is torn to pieces during the abortion that is one of the ways it is killed ripped limb from limb. So therefore I think stem cell research is wrong also. After all you've already caused the unborn baby so much misery and pain and taken it's life from it so at least leave their poor bodies alone. Abortion and Stem Cell research are just another one of mankind's vile and cruel and evil things. I pray that God will have mercy on all of those that get abortions and have had abortions. I am glad that those poor babies will live with him and heaven forever. I may not make it there myself who knows but at least they could. Just so you know no child is an accident they all come here with a purpose but some never have the chance to fulfill there purpose because of the cruelty of mankind. One day it will come to pass that we will have to account for the things we have done and only if we are truly sorry and regretful for those things can we be forgiven. I know that there are some who will see this differently than me such as atheist and other people of non-christian and even some christian religions but that is fine in the end of time it may come to pass that what I believe is wrong but I don't care because I'm happy for now. Well there you have my opinion.

I am in favor of it. And guess what? Human cloning has been here as long as humans have--it is called identical twins. It is just that it is random now, not controlled. And people have babies now to use their parts to transplant into their existing kids.
