Lentini, Your question needs to examined and refined some. However, you took the time to ask it and answer it I will. I think you want to know how far away the moon is from earth? The distance fluctuates depending on the Apogee (how far it is away) and its Perigee (how near it is). Our moon varies in distance relative to the earth depending upon its revolution around each other. This is in the neighborhood of 220,000 (Perigee) to 240,000 (Apogee) miles of each other . The accepted constant distance is 238,718 miles from the earth, or 400,000 km.
The moon has other interesting features such as: it does not rotate, thus showing the earth one side only; the moon is 1 Billion years older than the earth (Science Times--NY Times as source); the moon's surface is covered in titanium as to the earth's titanium which is in the interior; the moon has hollow features or mascons as evidenced by impacts of our lunar probes and Apollo LEM impacts. This gave a gonging sound that NASA registered and cannot explain?; the moon is 11.5 degrees off the solar plane as compared to the other planet's moons which are on the solar plane; and the moon has been observed by astronomers as early as the 1920's of having clouds. Which means if the moon has clouds, that means an atmosphere and water. This has been confirmed by the science community in the early to mid-ninety's! FACT!
Our moon is not the "dead moon" that has been propogated by the news media. The moon is truly a mysterious?
*Correction--The moon does rotate. One rotation per earth orbit. We just only see one side. Thanks John B.

Your question does not make any sense. Are you trying to ask "how far away is the Moon from Earth?" Or "is the Moon 710,000 miles from Earth?" The answer to that last question is "no." In fact, the Moon is closer than that. To find out how far it is, google "earth moon distance" or look it up in wikipedia.
