Every political, social, economical, spiritual direction, guided by the almighty dollar - while also proclaiming to be Christian? What a laugh. How can any Republican claim to be Christian and maintain a straight face?

We are a capitalist country. The GOP is correct in that assumption. Capitalism may have run amok in the US, but its still capitalism.

@ one of the answerers:

Our constitution is NOT based on Christian beliefs or values. That idea is a fallacy created when our nation was waging a fear campaign against communism. Another outcome of that fear campaign on the American people was adding god to the pledge of allegiance. Our constitution is based on non-secular values. The founding fathers were closer to atheism than anything else. They were educated and KNEW not to create a system based on religion. It is true however that the nation embraced/excepted protestant values in general - faith in government was tolerated because most were protestant to begin with.

We can turn that question around. Why does every Democrat candidate claim to be a Christian when they openly support anti-christian action such as abortion?
There are many people who claim to be Christians, who are not even close, but that is between them and God.
We are a capitalist nation, that is our economic system. It is the only fair way of creating wealth. In fact, it is practically the ONLY we of creating wealth. Socialism destroys commerce and reduces the amount of money available to help the needy.
Capitalism is NOT anti-Christian. It is the LOVE of money that is the problem. Dick Cheney and Don Imus BOTH give MILLIONS of dollars to charity to help those less fortunate than themselves. How much do you reckon Al Sharpton gives?

You need to switch to decaf and get an enema.

That question makes almost no sense and doesn't really deserve an answer. But i am a nice guy. You are angry about something and are basing a question on something other than facts.

Do you think HIllary Clinton would be in politics if it weren't for money or power?

Why don't you listen to your favorite songs on records?

Why didn't you write that question on a type writer?

Answer: Because of capitalism and supply/demand

======================

Accumulating wealth is not against Christian beliefs, unless you do wrong with that money. (See Proverbs)

You are an ungrateful and angry person -
Hillary loves you...you are vulnerable and are moved by sweeping non-factual statements based on false assumptions. You are a liberal politician's dream.

p.s. - if you are over college age you should be ashamed of yourself for asking this question.
